Champ's Auto Repair Service {at 67th Ave. & Bell} earned ALL of my business with their HONESTY, MECHANICAL EXPERTISE, & FRIENDLINESS, and their prices were quite reasonable. I recommend them highly, because they have earned all of my business. There are perhaps a hundred or more auto repair shops within a 10 mile radius of my house, & I was very lucky to have found them. My truck wouldn't start periodically. I knew it was overdue for a tune-up, but what if that didn't fix the problem? While in the Fry's market next door I got into a short conversation with one of the employees--he liked my MAGA hat--and happened to ask a young man where he gets his car fixed. He told me to go to Champ's, because that's where all of the other Fry's workers go. Thus, I took his advice and went there at 7:30am the very next day. Manager Tim Delgado was extremely helpful in more ways than one. He arranged for me to be taken home and picked up, and he kept me informed throughout the day by phone. He told me the reason my truck wouldn't start was because the system, for some reason, didn't like the key. I still told him to do the tune up, because it was long past due. Unlike other places I've been to, Tim didn't try to sell me parts & services I didn't need, and all of his charges were quite reasonable. The mechanic who did the work, Mel, picked me up and explained what he did. Not only did I find him to be quite knowledgeable, but trustworthy as well--the kind of man I'd like to have as a neighbor. So, on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being best, I give Tim Delgado & Champ's Auto Repair Service a 10+. 10 for doing the job correctly & in a timely manner, and a plus for finding the cryptic reason why my truck wouldn't start, and for making everything affordable & convenient.
